Andrew Sirko was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He is the youngest of three brothers. Being the youngest he was roped into his older brother's shenanigans!
At just seven years old, Andrew eagerly assisted his older brother in creating a short film in which he helped with lighting, set design, and camera operator. Immediately it sparked his interest in acting!
When Andrew attended high school, he managed to be in an honors filmmaking class and he helped out with the school play(insert title). He was part of the stage crew as well as an extra. Which was exhilarating and gave him his first introduction to the world of Theatre. While in high school he also played sports such as football (Half Back/Safety), soccer (defender), and golf.
Andrew continued his education at Los Angeles Trade Technical College and got certified as a diesel technician. From there he enlisted in the United States Air Force because he had a strong desire to serve his country. No matter the detours he’s had, acting always has been in him. After three years in the service he decided to call the VA to see if they covered Acting Schools in Los Angeles, which they did. Growing up he used to watch old westerns with his dad. Some of his favorites to watch as a kid were “The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly”, “The Outlaw Josie Wales”, and “Pale Rider”. All starring Clint Eastwood which he found out was an alumni of the two year acting conservatory Theatre of Arts. He knew this was the school for him! He auditioned and got accepted.
Some of the training he received while attending Theatre Of Arts Conservatory was sketch comedy, commercials, combat armed/unarmed and motion capture. He was in the school’s play “Polaroid Stories” directed by Melissa Chalsma. He also appreciates the tech side of the industry. He was able to write, act, and edit his own short film, “Balloon”.
Andrew looks forward to booking commercials. As well as working on comedy tv series and creating short films for film festivals.
